About Barry
Barry lives by the coast in Dublin with his wife and two young daughters, who keep him on his toes! He’s passionate about sports, travel, good food - and has a well-documented fondness for wine….
He’s spent the past 15+ years leading commercial growth across both high-growth scale-ups and global enterprises. Most recently, he was Chief Sales Officer at PaymentPlus, a scaling FinTech, where he led go-to-market transformation and helped shape the next stage of growth. Before that, Barry spent over a decade at Sage, rising to MD for Ireland while leading commercial teams across multiple international markets.
Earlier in his career, he ran his own business between South Africa and Ireland, and spent five years working in property in Spain.
He’s currently working in a fractional capacity, helping growth-stage businesses build scalable commercial engines - while keeping an eye out for the next big, meaningful challenge.
